Hispanic American Foundation Awards $45K in College Scholarships

TULSA–In April 2020, the Hispanic American Foundation of Tulsa announced its award of $45,000 to 15 Tulsa area high school seniors. Each student will receive a tuition-support award of $3,000.  

Scholarship recipients were selected from juried review of essay applications and demonstration of financial need, academic rigor and community involvement. 

This year’s academic scholarship winners are:

The Hispanic American Foundation of Tulsa celebrates 30 years serving Tulsa. As a 501(c)(3) organization, the Foundation is dedicated to the preservation, appreciation and promotion of Hispanic culture through scholarships, grants and the presentation of cultural programs. 

The Foundation holds an annual event, the Noche de Gala, each fall with net funds underwriting college scholarships and Tulsa area events which celebrate Hispanic culture. Covid concerns have suspended this year’s Gala event.
