Greetings members and supporters of the Hispanic American Foundation,
On behalf of the Tulsa Hispanic American Foundation and its board members, I would like to express our most sincere gratitude to you for your past patronage and sponsorship of our organization. The Hispanic American Foundation is devoted to the goals of furthering opportunities in education for Tulsa residents as well as the appreciation of Hispanic culture by providing funding for cultural events throughout the year. We would not be able to accomplish this important work without your help.
2021 Highlights
I am proud to report that our efforts in 2021 resulted in a number of successes for the Foundation. First and foremost, we were able to provide a total of 15 scholarships to local high school students, many of whom would not be able to attend college without support from organizations such as ours.
The Foundation was also able to provide financial assistance to several partner organizations, such as the San Miguel school and the Hispanic Entrepreneurship Academy. In addition, the Foundation supported cultural programs as Festival Americas, Día de Los Muertos, Tulsa Ballet’s Leaps in Motion Program, and Ballet Folklorico.
Working Forward
Our goal for this year is to continue the successes of the past. As we are on to a good start for 2022, with the announcement of $60,000.00 in scholarships. And with the support of Zarrow Commemorative Fund we are expanding the number of college retention scholarships in 2022.
In addition, we are also striving to grow the Foundation’s membership through increased networking and community collaboration. Moreover, we are aiming for greater community engagement through increased partnership with other local organizations.
It is only through our members’ generous support and dedication that the Foundation can continue its vital mission. We would like to encourage you to partner with the Hispanic American Foundation by renewing your pledge at this time.
I would please like to remind you to save the date for this year’s Noche de Gala, the Foundations most important fundraising event, to be held October 22, at Southern Hills Country Club. We hope to see you all there!
