Noche de Gala

In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage month, the Foundation holds an annual fundraising event, the Noche de Gala. The Gala has garnered prestige as one of Tulsa’s premier social events and is hosted at Southern Hills Country Club.

Each year the Foundation celebrates a country and its culture important to Hispanic-Latino heritage. In 2019, the theme was “Celebrando México.” The evening began with appetizers, cocktails and a silent auction, and KTUL News Anchor Neile Jones served as the event’s master of ceremonies.

The Southern Hills chef and staff served a four-course gourmet dinner. Following dinner, a live auction raised monies for college scholarships. The evening culminated with Latin music and dancing.

Noche de Gala 2020: Covid Decision

After many months of Gala planning and in weighing the best interests of our donors, patrons, and volunteers, the Hispanic American Foundation Board has canceled the 2020 Noche de Gala event. Because the Gala serves as HAF’s only annual fundraiser, we are working on alternatives to celebrate Hispanic heritage month (Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, 2020).
